Squadron Leader Piyapong Pue-on (Thai: ปิยะพงษ์ ผิวอ่อน; rtgs: Piyaphong Phiu-on; born: November 14, 1959 as Padej Khanklue) is a retired Thai football player and played as a striker. He is the most well-known football player in Thailand, and as such, he is considered the national football hero. He was a member of the Thailand national football team and also played for club football for FC Seoul of the South Korean K League, then known as Lucky-Goldstar Hwangso, from 1984-1986.[1] He played one of the leading roles to crown FC Seoul in 1985 K-League Championship (12 goals and 6 assists). He had a good relationship with then FC Seoul manager Park Se-Hak whom he still calls "Father".
He also appears in the 2004 film Kerd ma lui (Born to Fight in European title).
An active Thai Air Force officer, Piyapong is coaching the Thai Air Force football club (2007). Married, Piyapong has a son born in 1985 playing football like his father and working as a model and movie actor sometimes.
