Pittosporum ceylanicum is a species of plant in the Pittosporaceae family. It is endemic to Sri Lanka.

Leaves

terminally clustered, spiral, obovate to oblanceolate, tapered base, veins reticulate; young shoots and petioles glandular.

Trunk

Bark - grayish white, warty, lenticellate.

Flowers

yellowish white; Inflorescence - pseudo-terminal umbels, paniculate.

Fruits

yellowish, subglobose capsules, valves woody, hard, mango smell; seeds angular; pulp orange-red, sticky.

Ecology

secondary forest, rocky outcrops.

Culture

Known as "කෙටිය - ketiya" in Sinhala.
