Pistachio – The Little Boy That Woodn't is the thirty-first Veggie Tales video. It was released direct-to-DVD on February 27, 2010. It is a spoof of Carlo Collodi's modern novel The Adventures of Pinocchio. It also has the subtitle "A Lesson in Listening to your Parents".

Plot

Larry the Cucumber shows Bob the Tomato a new kitchen that Extreme Re-Do: Crying Edition made. The kitchen has blue walls and throw pillows. Qwerty has also had a makeover, has mail and, can talk. Kids, through Qwerty's webcame, show up and tell their problems. Bob starts crying tears of joy over how the kitchen has turned out while the story is introduced.

Gelato (played by Larry) is a lonely toy maker (due to his brothers disappearance) and has no children besides 3 ducklings and a Caterpillar named "Cricket" (played by Khalil). Gelato then gets pistachio wood from his neighbor Parcheesey (played by Pa Grape) and uses it to carve a boy. After a night of work, Pistachio (played by Junior Asparagus) comes to life with the help of the Blue Fairy (played by Madame Blueberry). Bristling under Gelato's guidance, Pistachio goes on amazing, but trouble-making adventures before realizing his folly and coming home to Gelato.

The Silly Song is "Where Have All The Staplers Gone?", as sung by Petunia Rhubarb.

Larry then invites the cast to see the makeover for the kitchen. The video closes with QWERTY reads from Ephesians 6:1-3.
