Pionir Hall, or Pionir Arena (Serbian, Хала Пионир, Hala Pionir) is a sports arena in Belgrade, Serbia, located in the Belgrade's municipality of Palilula. Capacity of the arena is 8,150 seats.^[1]

Pionir hall is well known for its frequent matches between different basketball clubs, especially KK Crvena Zvezda, KK Partizan and foreign clubs.

History

The arena has hosted the Euroleague final in 1977 (in which Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Pallacanestro Varese) and the 1998 EuroCup final.^[2] In October 1989 the 16th World Judo Championships took place in Pionir Hall.^[3]

The arena has hosted several preliminary round games of the Eurobasket 2005 and 2013 World Women's Handball Championship.
