Pingu at the Wedding Party

Pingu at the Wedding Party (also known as A Very Special Wedding or Pingu: The Movie) is a 1997 television film featuring the Swiss character Pingu. It was originally broadcast on SF DRS in 1997, and was released on VHS and DVD in the UK in 2004. It was never seen in the US however. It was broadcast on BBC Two on 27 December 2010 and on Cbeebies on 31 December 2010.

Plot

Pingu is going to a wedding. Mother and Father prepare for the wedding and make Pingu try 5 different pageboy outfits on but Pingu throws a hissy fit and rips the clothes up. Then the wedding day comes and Pinga, Pongo, Zonko and Nikki come to the wedding as well. Nikki makes funny and weird noises in the car.

• Features Pingu, Pinga, Mother, Father, Grandfather, Mother and Father's friends, the bride and groom, the families of the bride and groom, Robby, and a Roomba. Various other penguins have supporting and/or minor roles (minister, organist, shopkeeper etc.).
