Pine Flat is a census-designated place (CDP) in Tulare County, California.[2] Pine Flat sits at an elevation of 3,871 feet (1,180 m).[2] The 2010 United States census reported Pine Flat's population was 166.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP covers an area of 1.2 square miles (3.0 km²), all of it land.

Demographics

The 2010 United States Census[3] reported that Pine Flat had a population of 166. The population density was 142.9 people per square mile (55.2/km²). The racial makeup of Pine Flat was 158 (95.2%) White, 0 (0.0%) African American, 3 (1.8%) Native American, 3 (1.8%) Asian, 0 (0.0%) Pacific Islander, 0 (0.0%) from other races, and 2 (1.2%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 11 persons (6.6%).

The Census reported that 166 people (100% of the population) lived in households, 0 (0%) lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and 0 (0%) were institutionalized.

There were 81 households, out of which 17 (21.0%) had children under the age of 18 living in them, 43 (53.1%) were opposite-sex married couples living together, 4 (4.9%) had a female householder with no husband present, 0 (0%) had a male householder with no wife present.
