Phylolestes ethelae, the Hispaniolan malachite, is a species of damselfly in the family Synlestidae. It is found in the Dominican Republic and Haiti where its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.
This species is the only member of its genus.
