Phyllodesmium iriomotense is a species of sea slug, an aolid nudibranch, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Facelinidae.
The specific name iriomotense refres to its type locality, the island Iriomote.
Distribution
The distribution of Phyllodesmium iriomotense includes Japan.[2] The type locality is Iriomote, Okinawa, Japan.[1]
Description
The length of the slug is 20 mm.[2]
This species contains no zooxanthellae.[2]
Ecology
Phyllodesmium iriomotense feeds on some unknown food, but it was found on thread like alcyonarian.[2]
