Petrčane is a village in Croatia located about 10 kilometres north of Zadar.
Petrčane is a 900 years-old beautiful small fisherman's village, 10 km northwest of Zadar. It is a picturesque little village with stunning beaches, clean sea, fragrant pine trees and Mediterranean climate. It has a gorgeous bay surrounded by two peninsulas – Punta Radman and Punta Skala. In Petrčane you can also find vibrant cafes, restaurants, markets and hotels. There are many trails leading through the olive fields around the village, which are perfect for trekking and biking. Traditionally, inhabitants were farmers and fishermen, but today tourism is one of the main industries, with many apartments, rooms and villas to offer. Historical towns Zadar and Nin are a short drive away.
