History

The Whittemore School of Business and Economics was founded in 1962.[1]

In January 2013, it changed its name to the Peter T. Paul College of Business and economics after Peter T. Paul, class of 1967, pledged $25 million toward the cost of a new business college facility and asked others—alumni, parents, businesses and community—to come together and raise the second $25 million. The new facility, which opened in the spring of 2013, can accommodate some 2,500 students.[6]
