Peter P. Gudo (born Penasbugo Guido Langisse Gudo on 12 June 1994)[1] is a Mozambican actor, film producer, and the CEO of Nigma Pictures Entertainment. He has starred, written and produced numerous films, and dramatic feature films. Gudo is known for playing the modest child in Tony Magmar's Manungo. Gudo formed a film production compan, Nigma Pictures, in 2011 to develop projects for film and television. Gudo has been involved in the film industry since he was 13 years old.[1]

In late 2010, Gudo began writing screenplays for Blue Art Films, a Mozambican movie production company, where he was the producer.[2]

Early life and family

Gudo was born in Dondo, Sofala.

Acting career

At age 13, Peter was discovered by director Tony Magmar, who cast him in the film Manungo. Gudo played the title role, a child who tries to live in a country alone after the war. the filming took place in Zimbabwe in 2007 and in 2008.

In 2010, Gudo was offered to play the role of Tigre in Children's Republic, working alongside Danny Glover. While, shooting, Gudo met with writer Franck Moisnard and developed an interest in screenwriting and producing. He wrote his first script for the film Capitalization, later directed by Guido Brothers.

In 2011, Gudo founded his own film production company, Nigma Pictures.

In 2012, Gudo performed in front of 1,000 people at the Chissano conference Center in Maputo during the Global Issues service Summit, where he was also one of the participating members at the American International School of Mozambique. In the same year he was regarded as the Youngest African and Mozambican Film Producer at the Business section of the Screen Africa website.[3]

In 2012, with Nigma Pictures, Gudo co-produced the British award winning TV series, Strike Back, Season 3. He also served as a producer for various projects developed by his production company such as Nico I, Nico:Maputo, The Child Soldier.

Screenwriting career

Gudo wrote more than 13 film projects and in most of the projects developed by his production company he was producer, actor and screenwriter.[3]
