Peter Kern (born 13 February 1949) is an Austrian actor, film director, screenwriter and producer. He has appeared in 70 films since 1957 and directed a further 23. He starred in the 1978 film Flaming Hearts, which was entered into the 28th Berlin International Film Festival.[1] In 1980, he was a member of the jury at the 30th Berlin International Film Festival.[2]
Kern's latest two films, Blutsfreundschaft (2008) and Mörderschwestern (2011), featured Helmut Berger in a starring role.
