Peter Grotier (born 18 October 1950), is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper from 1969 to 1986.

Career

Born in Stratford, London, he played for West Ham United between 1969 and 1974, mostly as understudy to Bobby Ferguson. He also spent time on loan to Cardiff City and Lincoln City.

Grotier later became reserve-team coach at Grimsby Town, and made an appearance in an FA Cup game against Watford in 1986, at the age of 36. He had a spell as caretaker manager in 1985.
