The Blessed Peter Friedhofen, F.M.M.A., (25 February 181921 December 1860) was a German Catholic Religious Brother. He was the founder of the Brothers of Mercy of Mary Help of Christians.

Friedhofen was born on a farm in Weitersburg bei Vallendar, in the former District of Koblenz. He died in 1860 in the capital city due to tuberculosis and was buried at the Brothers' motherhouse in Trier.[1]

In July 1985 Pope John Paul II beatified him.

Among the Brothers he founded, his feast day is celebrated on 21 December, the anniversary of his death.
