Peshmurians revolt

Peshmurians revolt (Peshmurians Copts) (in Arabic ثورة البشموريين) who live in the North Nile Delta around year 832, revolted against the Abbasid rule, where they expel the state workers and raised the banner of rebellion and refused to pay tribute (special tax called the jizya) .In the reign of Caliph Al-Ma'mun who arrested and killed large numbers of Copts and their dependents .
