Peravoor is a small town in Kannur district of Kerala state, south India.
Peravoor is a panchayat. This is a small town located in Kannur district. It is south of Kannur (55 km) and Thalaserry (45 km). The nearest town with hotels is Iritty. Iritty is forty kilometers from Kannur and Thalaserry. It is near to the famous temple Kottiyoor. Jimmy George (born March 8, 1955 at Peravoor, died November 30, 1987) was a professional volleyball player from Kerala, India. He was the first Indian volleyball player to become a professional and played in Italy.
