Peravali is a village and also a mandal / Mandal Head quarter in West Godavari district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. [2]

Geography

Peravali is located at NH - 16 and 7 kilometers away from Tanuku, which comes in between Raavulapalem and Tadepalligudem. Peravali Junction road had a connection to Narasapuram to Nidadavolu State Highway that intercepts NH - 16.

Here there exists a long Hanuman idol which is famous among these regions.

The villages like Kottapalli,Annavarappadu, Khandavalli, P.vemavaram, Kadimpadu, Malleswaram come under this region.

2009 elections

Vemuru and Duggirala have been added to the list of reserved constituencies, following a sharp increase in the population of SCs as per the 2001 census. Of the 2,37,658 population in the Vemuru constituency, 54,278 are SCs and 10,429 STs constituting 22.84 per cent and 4.39 per cent of the total population. Vemuru, Amruthaluru, Cherukupalli, Pittalavanipalem, and Karlapalem will form the constituency. Duggirala constituency will get part of Tenali mandal, Duggirala mandal, Kolluru, and Kollipara and be reserved for SCs during the 2009 elections. The total population of the Duggiral constituency area is 2,73,872 of whom 69,790 are SCs, 8,346 STs constituting 25.48 per cent and 3.05 per cent of the population.[2]
