Penta-padu is a village and a mandal in West Godavari district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1]
Geography
It is a villages in west Godavari district located towards east from Tadepalligudem. Some of the known famous educational institutions namely D.R.G.(Dwarakanadh Rameswaralal Goenka)government Degree college & Junior College, S.T.V.N.H. High School(Sri Tirumala Venkata Narasimha Hindu High School), Govt.Post Basic Schools. and some of Govt. Offices i.e., Mandal Praja Parishad, Mandal Revenue Office, Animal Husbandary, Register Office. The name Pentapadu came from the gramadevata Pentalamma, and it is a major panchyathi.
All streets are neat and clean with good cement roads and well-designed drainage system.
In the village they celebrate the festival call "Jathara" all together, The Jathara was every seven years one time.
