Penpals (band)
The Penpals was a band from Japan who is responsible for the opening theme for the anime Berserk, titled "Tell me Why" among many others, and have currently released a number of albums, singles, and music DVDs.
The band members' signature motif was putting on their glasses at the beginning of each concert.
The band broke up in 2005 when Takashi joined REVERSLOW.

Yosihito Hirai joined the Penpals after his previous band, Young Punch, broke up. With a new bassist in the band, Munemasa started playing Rhythm guitar.
