For the Australian school, see The Peninsula School.

Peninsula School is a private school located on six acres of land in Menlo Park, California. It was founded in 1925 by parents of the local community which included renowned educator, Josephine Duveneck, and her husband, Frank Duveneck, who owned Hidden Villa.[1][2] The school was founded by the then new ideas of John Dewey, Maria Montessori, and others who were part of the Progressive Education Movement.[3]
