Penfield 3 railway station was located on the Penfield line in the northern Adelaide suburb of Edinburgh.[1] It was located 25.8 kilometres from Adelaide station.
It closed between 1988 and 1990, just before the Penfield line was closed and dismantled in1991. The station sign and most seats, the track and some of the platform are now gone. The canopy is still there as of July 2013.[1] Penfield 3 is the only station left after Penfield 1 and 2 were demolished in the late 1990s and Hilra was demolished in the 1980s. Penfield 3 is still accessible from Taranki Road.
