Pendulus

The Pendulus is a HUSS, Frisbee ride which opened in 2003 at Pleasure Island Family Theme Park, Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, England. It is located in the White Knuckle Valley. It is a standard HUSS Frisbee themed around a Clock under the gondola.

History

The ride arrived at the park for the start of the 2003 season. It replaced the Crazy Loop which opened in 1996.

Ride Experience

The Gondola is capable of carrying 40 passengers. You start by the ride operators pulling your harness' down. Then the ride starts. First it spins around once or twice. Then you start swinging whilst still spinning. The ride reaches 90 degrees and keeps this high for about a minute. Then the ride stops spinning and gradually starts to stop swaying.
