Penanti

Penanti is a small town in Penang, Malaysia. It is located about several kilometres from Butterworth town. It is located in the parliamentary constituency of Permatang Pauh. Tok Kun Hill is also no further here. It is situated between the Alma-Machang Bubok road while the Mengkuang Dam is temporary closed for beautify. It will be re-opened in 2016.

The Butterworth Kulim Expressway is situated in Penanti linking Butterworth. The rest and service area in Butterworth Kulim Highway is Penanti Rest Area. It is located in the middle of the Lunas Interchange and Mengkuang Dam Interchange of the BKE. It is just 3 kilometres from Lunas town and Mengkuang Village. Penanti is also become a slightly busy town recently for the Lunas town people, Kulim Town to Butterworth city recently.

The Penanti highway interchange is also a ranking interchange in Penang. The shape of it is a X-shape diamond designed. There are also a lot of town can be taken the exit here. For example, Lunas, Kulim, Kubang Semang, Ara Kuda, Bukit Mertajam and so on people can exit from here. It is also the heart of the BKE when reaching here. The sister site interchanges in Penanti exit here is the Lunas exit and the Permatang Pauh-NSE exit.

Secondly, Penanti, the Kubang Semang interchange also located near Penanti. It is a high diamond flyover exactly built in Kuala Lumpur here. Kubang Semang interchange is also a slight busy in the daytime. There are some vehicles will be passing there after 4pm from Butterworth City and Perai via Permatang Pauh trunk road.

Besides, Penanti and Kubang Semang town are also located no further to Kuala Lumpur-George Town Capital City expressway. The Kuala Lumpur-George Town expressway sign will be seen here too lately.

In Penanti, there is a long burger area can be found there. This special is the only one special burger made in Penang or Malaysia.
