Pelomonas are gram-negative, rod-shaped, non-spore-forming bacteria from the family of Comamonadaceae which were isolated from haemodialysis water.[2] Phylogenetic analysis have shown that Pelomonas belongs to the class of Betaproteobacteria.[2]
