Pedakadimi is a panchayat in West Godavari district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. This village is about 9 km from Eluru, the headquarters of the district. This village is a political and agricultural hub in that area. The total land for the farmers of this village is around 6,000 acres (24 km2). The main crops are paddy, ground nut, green chilly and corns. It is one of the major villages in pedavegi mandal. The village is famous for farming and milk production. Almost every commercial and conventional crops are cultivated here. Politically it was once dominated by congress leaders but since the formation of TDP party by NTR it was majorly ruled by TDP leaders.

Culture

99 percent of the residents are Hindus. There are two major temples in the village 1. Lord Rama Temple (Ramula Vari Gudi - Pedda Gudi) 2. Goddess Kanakadurga Temple (Chinna Gudi). Recently a church was constructed for the converted Christians.

People here celebrate every festival traditionally. It is known for kodi pandalu (cock fight) during Sankranti, Seeta Rama Kalyanam on Sri Ramanavami, Nava Ratri pooja for Dussera, Gangallamma Jathara before harvest season.

Pedakadimi is well connected with National Highways, the NH-5 from Chennai to Kolkata is about 4 km from the village.
