Pearle Maaney is a VJ, model, television anchor and actress from Kerala, India. She is currently hosting the Malayalam dance reality show titled "GumOn D2" in Mazhavil Manorama with co-host Govind Padmasoorya.

She made her debut in Sameer Thahir's film Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi.[1]

Early life and family

Pearle Maaney was born to Dr.Maaney Paul ,who is a tamilian and Molly Maaney , a malayali (Maaney is another version of the Christian name Immanuel) in a joint family based in Cochin.She did her schooling in Kerala. She completed her graduation in Media Studies from Christ University, Bangalore. After completing her studies, she wrote and shot an English movie titled "The Perfectionist.[2][3][4]

Career

She anchored for the music show "Yes Jukebox" in the Malayalam channel Yes Indiavision, a subsidiary of Indiavision and completed over 250 episodes of it.[5] In October 2014, she started hosting the dance reality show "GumOn D2" in Mazhavil Manorama, replacing Jewel Mary with co-host Govind Padmasoorya.[6] She also hosts a programme on Kaumudy TV titled CINEMA COMPANY season 2.The first season was hosted by Ranjini Haridas.
