Peace Is the Mission
Peace Is the Mission is the third studio album by Diplo's dancehall project Major Lazer. It is set to be released on June 1, 2015.[1] The album was preceded by the international hit single Lean On featuring DJ Snake and MØ. The single reached number one in Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands and peaked within the top-ten in an additional fifteen countries including the United Kingdom and France. Two promotional singles were released; Roll The Bass on 23 March 2015 and Night Riders, a collaboration with Travi$ Scott, 2 Chainz, Pusha T and Mad Cobra, released on 21 April 2015. The second official single, Powerful, a collaboration with British singer Ellie Goulding will be released on 1 June 2015.[2]
Singles
The lead single from the album, Lean On, a collaboration with DJ Snake and Danish singer MØ, was released on 2 March 2015. The track received universally positive reviews and reached the top-ten in seventeen international charts.
The second single from the album, Powerful, featuring Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley will be released simultaneously with the album on 1 June 2015. A preview of the single was revealed on 23 April 2015. [3]
Promotional singles and other songs
The first promotional single, Roll The Bass, was released on 23 March 2015, followed by the second promotional single, Night Riders, released on 21 April 2015. All My Love featuring Ariana Grande was featured on the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack prior to the remix that is featured on Peace Is the Mission.
