Pazhanji is well known for Arecanut Market. This market is a hub of daily activity from Monday through Saturday. This is where local arecanut (അടയ്ക്ക)sellers sell their product to authorised arecanut merchants. Buyers and sellers execute trade transactions by auction. Daily operations commence at 8 am and continue until 10:30 am. Pazhanji is in the Kattakambal Panjayath.And Also famous for Pazhanji Palli / Pazhanji Church.
You may get down at Trichur or Guruvayur Railway Station or Nedumbasseri International Airport to reach Pazhanji [approximately 105 km from Cochin]. From the railway station/airport you should reach Kunnamkulam and then Pazhanji.[2]
