Paweł Zatorski (born June 21, 1990 in Łódź, Poland) is a Polish volleyball player, a member of Poland men's national volleyball team and Polish club ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, World Champion 2014, a gold medalist of the FIVB World League 2012, silver medalist of the World Cup 2011, bronze medalist of the European Championship 2011 and the FIVB World League 2011, a double Polish Champion.

Career

Clubs

Zatorski is an alumnus of Skra Bełchatów. He represented the second team of the club from Bełchatów. In this time, he won two title of Polish Champion (juniors and cadets) and silver medal of European Cadet Championship. In 2008 he moved to AZS Częstochowa and debuted in the top Polish league - PlusLiga. In 2010 he returned to PGE Skra Bełchatów.[1] He spent four seasons in this club, winning: two medals of FIVB Club World Championship - silver in 2010 and bronze in 2012; silver medal of CEV Champions League 2011/2012;[2] two Polish Cups (2011, 2012); Polish SuperCup 2012; silver medal of Polish Championship 2012;[3] two Polish Champion titles in season 2010/2011 and 2013/2014.[4] On May 6, 2014, it was officially announced that Zatorski had signed a contract with ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle for the next two seasons.[5]

National team

In 2011, he gained three medal with the Polish team - silver at World Cup,[6] bronze at European Championship and bronze at World League[7] in Gdańsk, Poland. On July 8, 2012 won a gold medal of World League 2012 in Sofia, Bulgary.[8][9] On August 16, 2014, Zatorski was appointed to squad at World Championship held in Poland.[10][11] On September 21, 2014 he won, with the team, the title of World Champion 2014.[12][13][14] On October 27, 2014 received a state award granted by the Polish President Bronisław Komorowski - Gold Cross of Merit for outstanding sports achievements and to promote Polish in the world.[15]
