Paul Thorsen Harildstad

Paul Thorsen Harildstad (23 December 1764 15 January 1843) was a Norwegian farmer and politician. [1]

He was born on the farm Søre Harildstad in Heidal in Oppland, Norway. He was the seventh of eight children. He was commissioned as an officer in 1788 and participated in the campaign against Sweden 1808-1809. He participated in the Battle of Toverud in Aurskog during 1808 and was awarded the Order of the Dannebrog for bravery. He represented Oplandske Infanteriregiment at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly in 1814.[2]
