Paul R. Blakemore

Paul Blakemore is a British Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Oregon State University.^[1] As an organic chemist, he specializes in stereochemical syntheses. He has published 26 peer-reviewed papers, several of which have been cited over 100 times according to Science Citation Index.

Early life

Blakemore was born in Essex, United Kingdom, in 1972. He attended Romford Grammar School and Southampton University, where he gained a Bachelor of Science degree followed by a PhD in synthesis of amino acids. He has lived in Oregon since 1999 but remains a British citizen.
