Paul J. Gemperline

Paul J. Gemperline is an American analytical chemist and chemometrician. He is (distinguished) professor at the East Carolina University (ECU) at Greenville, North Carolina and recipient of several scientific awards, including the 2003 Eastern Analytical Symposium Award in Chemometrics. He is author of more than 60 publications in the field of Chemometrics. Gemperline is currently Dean and Associate Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies at ECU.

Gemperline currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Chemometrics.[1]

His brother-in-law is musician Peter Cetera.
