Paul Gurran (11 January 1893 – 22 February 1944) was a highly decorated Generalleutnant in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Paul Gurran died on 22 February 1944 in a field hospital in Majewo, Russia. He was posthumously promoted to Generalleutnant.
