Paul Douglas Waldorf was the tenth head football coach for the Fort Hays State University Tigers located in Hays, Kansas and he held that position for six seasons, from 1936 until 1941. His career coaching record at Fort Hays was 25 wins, 21 losses, and 8 ties. This ranks him fourth at Fort Hays in total wins and seventh at Fort Hays in winning percentage. [1] He was a brother of Pappy Waldorf, another college football coach.[2]

Waldorf's 1940 season includes a school-record three ties in one season, a record that still stands as of the conlucsion of the 2007 season.[3]
