Patricio Loustau (born 1975) is an Argentine football referee. He refereed at 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.[1]

It was alleged that on May 15, 2011, in the Argentinian superclásico between Boca Juniors and River Plate, Loustau tried to favour the match to Boca. According to some sources,[2][3][4][5] he did not award at least three penalties to River Plate. En Julio 2014 se prepara para dirigir un partido conmemorando los 108 años del Club Talleres de Remedios de Escalada enfrentando a Temperley equipo que milita hoy en dìa en la B Nacional.

On September 6, 2013, after having finished the Peru - Uruguay match (which he referred) in the Estadio Nacional of Perú for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification (CONMEBOL), he had to be escorted out of the stadium.[6] It is speculated that he tried to favour the match to Uruguay by not awarding a penalty to Peru and ejecting left winger Yoshimar Yotun for inadvertently dropping the ball on Uruguay's forward Luis Suarez (who is serving a 10-match ban in England for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic).[7]
