Patricia Strachota (June 29, 1955) is a Wisconsin politician and legislator.

Born in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, Strachota graduated from Saint Mary's College (Indiana). She served on the Washington County, Wisconsin Board of Supervisors 1986-2002. Strachota also worked for the Washington County Department of Human Resources as a personnel/safety analyst. Strachota has served in the Wisconsin State Assembly since 2005, and also serves as the Assembly Majority Leader.[1][2][3] She is a member of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). In February 2014, Strachota announced she will not seek reelection.[4] On November 4, 2014, Bob Gannon was elected to her seat.[5]
