Path Transit is an Australian bus company operating services in Perth under contract to Transperth. It is a subsidiary of Australian Transit Enterprises.
History
On 29 September 1996 Path Transit commenced operating services in the Marmion and Wanneroo areas from depots in Joondalup and Trigg with 191 Mercedes-Benz and Renault buses.[1][2][3]
In January 1998 Path Transit gained further services in the Joondalup North area[4][5] followed in July 1998 by services in the Morley area.[6] In 1998 a new depot was opened in Wangara.[7]
As at December 2013 Path Transit operate the Kalamunda and Morley area contracts.[8][9]
Fleet
As at December 2013 the Perth fleet consisted of 331 buses.[10] Buses are painted in Transperth livery.
Depots
Path Transit operates four depots in Perth in Bayswater, Kalamunda, Malaga, Welshpool and Kalgoorlie.[11]. It lost the tender for the Busselton contact in 2014.
