Pastamania is a fast casual restaurant chain in Singapore, Malaysia, India and the Middle East. It offers mainly pasta and also sells pizza. Pastamania is unrelated to the now defunct Hulk Hogan endorsed restaurant of the same name, which was ranked number two on Time magazines list of "Top 10 Oddball Celebrity-Branded Products".[1]
About
The first Pastamania outlet was opened in April 1998, with an outlet within a food court in the basement of Scotts Shopping Centre in Singapore. Since then, it has opened a number of outlets in Singapore. It has also expanded its operations to include Malaysia, the Middle East, and has plans to open up restaurants in India.[2] On Tripadvisor Pastamania in downtown Singapore gets generally negative reviews, with an average of two out of five stars.[3] Customers describe the staff as being "unprofessional" and the service "horrendous". A more positive review began with the notion "some like it" and complimented the pasta for being cooked right.
Pastamania is currently a franchise offered by PastaMatrix International Pte Ltd.[4]
