The Party of Civic Rights (Czech: Strana Práv Občanů, SPO), formerly Party of Civic Rights – Zeman's people (Czech: Strana Práv Občanů - Zemanovci, SPOZ) is a social-democratic political party in the Czech Republic founded in October 2009 by Miloš Zeman, former Prime Minister and the former leader of the Czech Social Democratic Party.[1] Zeman was elected in first popular vote of President of the Czech Republic in January 2013.

In Spring 2014, Senator Jan Veleba elected as Independents, joined and became chairman of the party. In Senate elections in October 2014, famous businessman from the communist era František Čuba was elected as the second Senator.
