Parnkalla people

The Parnkalla, or Barngarla, are an Indigenous Australian people from the Port Lincoln, Whyalla and Port Augusta area of Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, Australia.[1][2][3]

The Barngarla language

In 2012 Ghil'ad Zuckermann (University of Adelaide) and the Barngarla community launched a reclamation of the Barngarla language, based on 170-year-old documents.[4]
