Park Yu-ha (박유하, 朴裕河; born March 25, 1957) is a professor at the College of Liberal Arts, Sejong University.[1] Her research focuses on the Japan-Korea relations. Her recent book Comfort Women of the Empire criticizes the narrow-minded Korean interpretation of Comfort women which only emphasizes on "sex slaves".[2][3] A group of former Comfort women seeks sales ban of the book claiming it depict them as "prostitutes" and collaborators with Japan.[4]

Academic career

Park graduated from Keio University in 1981. She earned M.A. from Waseda University in 1989 and Ph. D. in 1993. [1]
