Park Hall (football ground)

Park Hall

Park Hall Stadium is the home ground of The New Saints in Oswestry.

Oswestry Town first used the former council-owned stadium on 28 August 1993 but, after the club's financial problems and the merger with TNS, the ground fell into disrepair and was purchased by Mike Harris.

After redevelopment at a cost of more than £3 million with a £445,000 grant from the Football Foundation, Park Hall now houses The Venue (a leisure development, including Ten-Pin Bowling lanes). The playing area was reconstructed with an artificial Ligaturf pitch which is FIFA 2* approved.

There are currently 1000 seats at Park Hall, 500 of which are located on the Balcony Side and 500 behind the goal. The rest of the stadium is flat standing. The Club must add another 500 seats if they wish to play European matches at the stadium from 2013.

The ground is floodlit with 500 Lux lights that can also be used at a lower "community" setting for pitch hire.
