Paris Nights is a game developed and released by Gameloft for the J2ME Platform (which was released in 2008[1]). This game is part of the Night series by Gameloft.[2]

Welcome, mon ami, to Paris! This is the international top fantasy destination, where all your dreams may come true. Experience the City of Lights in a unique way, as no one has before. Meet past and present French personalities as you explore the most famous places in the world, such as the Eiffel Tower, the prestigious Champs-Elysees Avenue, and many more. Start a new life in a timeless adventure full of ups and downs, but the French joy of life will offer you the chance to find true love, embrace a promising career, and experience legendary encounters. Controls
Non-touchscreen phones
- The player can use the D-Pad or the Num-Pad to control or move his/her avatar.
- To chat with non-playable in-game characters, the player has to come close to the character and press ok (D-Pad) or 5 (Num-Pad) when prompted to talk.
Touchscreen phones
- The player taps on the screen to point the area where his/her avatar will go.
- To chat with non-playable in-game characters, the player has to tap the interaction button or just tap the character when prompted whenever near to another character. There are lots of interaction that can be done, the player can chat, flirt, prank, etc.
Version Differences
The game differences from the touchscreen and then non-touchscreen versions of the game.
Touchscreen Version
- Removed most of the shoes & outfits.
- Removed some furniture from the furniture shop.
- Some places like Bastille, Chatelet, Montmartre, etc. have been removed.
- Some textures have been converted to 16-bit.
Non-Touchscreen Version
- Many furniture to buy from the furniture shop.
- There are lots of places to visit!
- The textures are in 32-bit.
- The world, places, etc. are well designed.
- So many outfits, etc. to choose from!
Reception
Due to its success, it received generally positive reviews from gaming companies such as Pocket Gamer who gave the game an 8/10 points respectively.[3] it also became subject to many game reviews.
“Overall it's a lot of fun with a lot of tongue-in-cheek conversations and interactions and vast map-fulls of colourful visuals. There are just a few criticisms.” -Pocket Gamer (8/10 silver award)[3]
