Paranormal Witness is an American paranormal documentary television series made by a British production company described as featuring "eyewitness accounts" from "everyday people" who claim to have experienced paranormal activity. The series premiered on September 7, 2011, on Syfy. It is also shown on Really and Watch in the United Kingdom.

Ranked as one of the top 10 new original series, Paranormal Witness was renewed for a second season set to premiere in August 2012 with 12 new episodes.[1]

Based on the high ratings of the first 3 episodes for Season Two, Paranormal Witness was renewed for a third season with 20 new episodes which began airing on June 5, 2013.[2]

Syfy did not make an announcement about the series renewal after its third season finale but there are several official websites that state the series fourth season is currently being filmed.[3][4]

On October 29, 2014, the series was renewed for a 13 episode fourth season.[5]
