Parageusia
Parageusia is the medical term for a bad taste in the mouth.
One common form of parageusia is a metallic taste of food. This can be a side effect of several medications, such as acetazolamide, eszopiclone, zopiclone, metronidazole, or etoposide. Metallic taste is also a type of dysgeusia which is frequently associated with infections in the mouth or upper airways.
