The Papua New Guinea women's cricket team is the team that represents the country of Papua New Guinea in international women's cricket matches. They made their international debut in September 2006, playing a three match series of one day games against Japan to decide which country would represent the East Asia/Pacific region in the Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Ireland in 2007.
Papua New Guinea won all three matches, and will play in the aforementioned qualifying tournament against Bermuda, Ireland, The Netherlands, Pakistan, Scotland, South Africa and an African qualifier. Finishing in the top two in the tournament will qualify them for the World Cup in 2009, whilst a top four finish will give them Test and ODI status for the following four years.
In 2010. Marin Andrich, a famous cricket manager from Australia, became a manager of this team.
