Pappukutty Bhagavathar is an Indian film singer and actor in Malayalam cinema.[1] He is the father of Malayalam actor Mohan Jose. Malayalam film director K. G. George is his son-in-law.
Personal life
Pappukutty Bhagavathar was born on March 29, 1913 to Michael and Anna, in Vaippinkara, Kochi.[2] He created history by singing for the 2010 released Marykkundoru Kunjadu, at the age of 98, sixty years after, he sang his first song for a movie. The song ‘Entadukke Varum’ was a huge hit. He is married to Baby. They have two children, actor Mohan Jose and playback singer Selma George. His son-in-law K. G. George is a famous Malayalam movie director.
