Pankaja Munde-Palwe is an Indian politician and daughter of Gopinath Munde and Pradnya Munde. She is a niece of late Pramod Mahajan. Also cousin to Rahul Mahajan & Poonam Mahajan.
Early Life and Education
Pankaja was born on 26 July 1979 to Late Gopinath Munde, former union cabinet minister for Rural Development, Government of India. Pankaja has two siblings Pritam and Yashashari. Pankaja is elder to both.
Pankaja completed her graduation and also completed MBA. Dhananjay Munde leader of NCP is her cousin.
Political career
Pankaja is member of Legislative Assembly of Maharashtra from Parli constituency since 2009 representing the Bharatiya Janata Party.
She is State President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha,Maharashtra.
Pankaja Munde took oath as Maharashtra Cabinet Minister on 31st October 2014. She was allotted Ministry of Rural Development, Women & Child welfare and Water Conservation. [1]
