Pangasius pangasius, the Pangas catfish, is a species of shark catfish native to fresh and brackish waters of Bangladesh, India, Myanmar and Pakistan.[1][2] It has also been introduced to Cambodia and Vietnam. This species grows to a length of 3 metres (9.8 ft) SL. This species is important as a food fish.[2]
