Panchakarma
Panchakarma is cleansing of the body according to Ayurveda.[1] Panchakarma is claimed to eliminate the vitiated Doshas from the body.[2] This is a set of five (pancha = five in sanskrit) procedures. They are Vamana,[3] Virechana, Nirooha, Nasya, and Anuvasana.[4][5] Nirooha, Anuvasana and Uttaravasthi[6] form the basic types of Vasthi. The term Panchasodhana includes Vamana, Virechana, Sirovirechana, Nirooha, and Rakthamoksha.[5]
